John McCain Chooses High Dollar Fundraiser Over Virginia's Families
Richmond - Today on the campaign trail, John McCain promised to help law enforcement officials combat crime, help retrain displaced workers, and end the long lines at the Veterans Administration facilities. Questions John McCain won't answer:
1. After visiting Iraq, does McCain agree with General Petreus's assessment that Iraqi government isn't making enough progress toward national reconciliation and providing basic public services? If so, what is McCain's plan moving forward?
2. Why did John McCain's campaign insist that his trip to Europe and the Middle East was purely business and not political when they knew they were planning a campaign fundraiser in London? Are they planning fundraisers or political events in any other cities? Is McCain planning to use any time on this trip for political call time or any other campaign activities?
3. Is it true that, as the LA Times reported this weekend, McCain has been taking a hard line on national security issues publicly while privately telling moderate Republicans that those positions don't necessarily reflect his real views?
