March 13 McCain Questions
Questions of the Day for John McCain
March 13, 2008
1. Why does John McCain think it is bizarre that voters would want to examine his role in influence a contract that would have created 44,000 American jobs in 40 states?
2. Why does John McCain's campaign discuss his efforts to fight corruption in 2003 in response to questions about his actions in 2006 and 2007?
3. Why did John McCain say "almost all" of the economic benefits of tanker contract would stay in the United States when the facts show that the Boeing bid would have provided more nearly 20,000 more net jobs and immediate production in the US?
McCain: "Almost All of That Investment. Will Be Kept Inside United States." John McCain told a town hall meeting in Waco, Texas, "I think the bulk of that manufacturing and those jobs will be here in the United States of America, and I think it was a fair and open competition as far as I can tell. I'll be glad to send you the statistics. Almost all of that investment and any aspect of it will be kept inside the United States of America." [McCain Town Hall, 3/3/2008; http://blip.tv/file/716522]
