Virginia Dems to kick off 2008 field campaign on Saturday 

Expansive Warner-Obama field effort kicks off with 25 canvasses across the commonwealth

RICHMOND - Virginia Democrats will officially launch the 2008 coordinated field campaign on Saturday with more than 25 simultaneous canvasses across the Commonwealth.

This weekend's "Commonwealth Canvass Kickoff" marks the beginning of the Democratic field effort, with hundreds of volunteers knocking on their neighbors' doors to talk about the importance of supporting the Warner-Obama Democratic ticket.
