Springtime Bus Tour of Loudoun County Wineries --

An event to benefit the 10th Congressional District Democratic Committee and to showcase our region’s Agriculture.

When: Sunday, May 17, 2009; Start: 1:00 PM, End: 6:30 PM
Where: Comfortable touring buses will leave Ida Lee Park in Leesburg (60 Ida Lee Dr., NW, Leesburg, VA 20176) at 1:00 PM and will proceed from one winery to another, staying for refreshments and socializing at each stop. Participants will return to Ida Lee Park at approximately 6:30 PM. Parking is available. Ida Lee Park is ½ mile North of the intersection of Rts. 7 and 15 in the town of Leesburg.

Itinerary:
Breaux Winery — will be serving gumbo or jambalaya with their wines and will have live music as well
Doukenie Winery — will be serving Greek and Mediterranean food with the wines
Sunset Hills Winery — will be serving Virginia cheeses, sweets, and finger foods, and will be dressed out in red, white and blue!
Attire: Virginia Wine Country Casual
Price: $100 per person or $175 per couple. Statewide candidates can be sponsors for $500, and House of Delegates or local candidates can be sponsors for $100.
Star Attraction: We’ve invited all the candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General. Their appearance is subject to their schedules. The candidates who participate will ride the busses with us and have an opportunity to mix with everyone at the wineries.
