A lifelong, "yellow-dog" Democrat transplanted from Texas, Tres Seaver currently chairs the Fredericksburg City Democratic Committee.

I have set up a page on ActBlue for FXBG candidates. Please support them with your resources: this year is critical for our state and nation.

We had a really nice turnout for today's breakfast, with featured speaker Minority Leader Brian Moran, along with candidate Carlos Del Toro, running for the 88th House District against Repulican incumbant Mark Cole.

About thirty area Democrats listened to Del. Moran's description of the recently completed session of the General Assembly, including his description of the problems with the much touted transportation bill passed by House Republicans.

Commander Del Toro spoke briefly about his desire to have a representative in his district who would display real leadership, and be willing to roll up his sleeves to work on the hard problems facing the Commonwealth, rather than coasting on a platform of politicial expediency, as his opponent has done.  He then invited everyone to his campaign's official kickoff tomorrow afternoon.

Stafford Democratic chair Dan Smolen then introduced Jerry Kirvan, who is running as a Democrat for the Stafford Board of Supervisors in the Rock Hill distrcit against Republican incumbent, Bob Gibbons.

I'm glad to see the new site up and running. I actually got plugged into the Fredericksburg committee as somebody who could set up the committee's website, which I'm still running today, along with the related mailing lists.

Kudos to Brenner and Mike for their efforts! As somebody who builds dynamic websites for a living, I know how much effort and dedication such a launch requires.
