Kaine, Pollard Delivering Education Results For Virginia Students

Richmond, VA - Wednesday, October 31, Gov. Tim Kaine and Albert Pollard will discuss ways to improve education for Virginia's young people.

"Thanks to leadership of Governor Kaine, Governor Warner and others like John Chichester, Virginia is the best state in the nation to raise children and guarantee their opportunities for success," said Pollard. "But there is still work to do. I'm going to Richmond to lay down the partisan arms and work with Gov. Kaine and others across the aisle to make sure fewer children fall through the cracks."

Wednesday's event is part of the Democratic Party of Virginia's week-long, statewide Countdown To Progress: Delivering Results for Virginia Families Tour, a GOTV effort to remind Virginians to "Vote for Progress." on Election Day.

"With leaders like Albert Pollard in Richmond, we can get down to the business of delivering results for families here in Stafford County and Fredericksburg," said Gov. Kaine. "It's time to put aside extreme ideology and partisan bickering. We know what works, especially when it comes to building a world-class education system for our children. We just need partners in Richmond who will be committed to progress over partisanship."
