We conclude our Jeff Frederick debate trilogy with Frederick’s lengthy and nonsensical defense of Bill Howell’s “shared values” comment:

For those of you who couldn’t quite follow along, here’s the transcript:

“Uh, the Speaker didn’t say that. That’s just the way that it is. I mean, he can say whatever he wants about what people said or didn’t say, but if you read the news reports, it’s plain that he said that he didn’t say that. Now, you know, if you look at exactly what he said, he clearly didn’t say that. The dispute is about what was interpreted about what he said, and he said that that’s not what he meant, and I’ll take that for face value.”

Yeah, still doesn’t make any sense to us either.
