House Democratic Leader Ward Armstrong Names Mark Bergman Chief of Staff

House Democratic Leader Ward Armstrong of Henry County today named Mark Bergman his Chief of Staff. Bergman will assist House Democratic Leader Armstrong with his additional duties.

“I am happy to have Mark lead my staff and help Democrats continue to build upon the progress of the last couple of years,” Delegate Armstrong said. “His communications background will help our caucus to deliver a stronger Democratic message to the voters of Virginia.”

Bergman previously served as spokesman for the Virginia Joint Democratic Legislative Caucus, the Democratic Party of Virginia and as press secretary for Jim Pederson’s US Senate campaign in Arizona.

“I am honored to work for an up and coming Democratic leader in the Commonwealth,” Bergman said. “I am looking forward to helping Democrats this year continue to gain seats in the Virginia House of Delegates.”
