Flip-Flop Morgan Griffith throws Dave Albo under the bus

During the summer flip-flop season, House Republican leader Morgan Griffith joins with Jeannemarie Devolites Davis, Scott Lingamfelter, and Jeff Frederick to pull a U-Turn on abuser fees:

“As a part-time legislature, we will make mistakes, and we will have to correct them.”

That’s Griffith, speaking on abusive driver fees last month. (Washington Post, 7/13/07)

But he didn’t seem to think they were much of a mistake in January, when they were introduced as part of his transportation plan. In fact, he proudly described them in a radio interview, giving Del. Dave Albo full credit (WRVA AM, 1/5/07).
