6 Weeks to Victory

Are you tired of Republicans setting up roadblocks to getting things done in Virginia? Are you fed up with a divisive GOP leadership that places partisanship ahead of progress? Are you tired of Republicans controlling the General Assembly - spending their time working on extremist legislation that does nothing to move Virginia forward?

Are you ready to do something to change that?

There are only six weeks left until Election Day, and it is time for us to roll up our sleeves, put on our sneakers, and hit the streets to help our candidates! I am asking you to join us on Saturday, September 29, for our Six Weeks to Victory Events across the state. We'll be going door-to-door to talk to voters about our great Democratic candidates. Find an event in your area!

Just a few hours of your time can make a difference. Your help could give Democrats a real chance to gain control of the Senate and win enough seats in the House of Delegates to give Gov. Kaine the partners he needs to pass real solutions to our very real problems and keep Virginia moving forward. And remember... A successful November for Democrats means we'll have a seat at the table when redistricting battles begin in 2010. Sign up to join us!

Some of these races will be decided by a handful of votes. We won a historic victory with Jim Webb last fall and lost the closest statewide race in Virginia history in 2005 by a few hundred votes. Your time in this final stretch will make the difference in turning Virginia blue.
