Labor Caucus

The struggle for economic and social justice in our communities is the shared core of Democratic Party values and labor activism. The DPVA Labor Caucus advocates for issues important to labor union members and their families.  The goals of the caucus are to:

·       Raise awareness of issues impacting workers including safe working conditions, access to health care, retirement security, living wages, workers’ rights, public education, and basic fairness and dignity for workers in the Commonwealth

·       Educate and mobilize union voters in election campaigns by increasing participation at the grassroots level

·       Support and elect candidates who will strengthen the voice of Virginia’s working families at all levels of government
