Chairman Election

The central committee will be holding an election for chairman.The Democratic Party of Virginia hereby announces that it will hold an election for Chairman of the DPVA Central Committee during the central committee meeting , beginning at 10:00AM on December 4, 2010 at the Newport News Marriott. Only members of the central committee are permitted to vote.   

 Any person wishing to seek election to chair must file a Chairs Election form, prior to 5:00 pm, on Monday, November 29.  No person who has failed to comply with the prefiling requirements may be considered for nomination.
